Description:
The Site Reliability Engineering team at ServiceNow is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the reliability, scalability, and performance of the ServiceNow platform and infrastructure.
The team aims to resolve technical issues across the technology stack independently and improve the operability of the platform to minimize incidents and reduce MTTR.
Engineers in this role will work on relief and sustainable resolution of infrastructure issues, prevent repeatable problems, collaborate with partner teams to enhance system design, promote automation, and drive monitoring and automation initiatives.
This is a Swing shift role with a Wed-Sat working week, including a shift allowance.
Requirements:
Deep knowledge of Linux systems.
Experience with relational databases like MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgresSQL.
Experience working with systems at scale, focusing on automation, observability, availability, and performance.
Proficiency with Kubernetes for container deployment, scaling, and management.
Coding experience in languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Ruby.
Networking skills including IP addressing and routing.
Strong attention to detail, proactive issue anticipation, root cause analysis, and solution-building mindset.
Good collaboration and communication skills.
