As a Full-Stack Staff Developer on the Demo and Sign Up team, you will enhance the experience for potential clients during their final steps before joining Jane.
You will lead initiatives to improve user acquisition, streamline the sign-up and demo experience, and establish frameworks for data-driven experimentation.
Your role includes mentoring developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable solutions that benefit practitioners using Jane.

You will revamp signup and demo processes to reduce friction and drop-off rates, thereby growing the client base and reducing churn.
Collaborate with development, PM, and UX teams to define, build, and measure impactful features.

Contribute to broader technical direction and decision-making alongside other technical leaders.

Requirements:

Experience as a full-stack developer, preferably with Ruby on Rails, but applicants with Java, C#, Python, and Go experience are also welcome.
Proven ability to take ownership and a strong bias toward action, with a focus on improving quality, productivity, performance, and security.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take initiative on ideas.
Comfortable collaborating closely with design and Product Management teams.
Skilled at navigating legacy systems and ambiguous problems to find quick solutions.
Excellent cross-team and cross-functional communication skills to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Experience working from hypotheses and refining details through iteration.
Proven experience in mentoring developers and creating a positive impact through education on best practices and design principles.
Capable of participating in medium-term vision setting and effectively presenting initiatives to stakeholders.

Competitive salary range from $154,400 to $241,300, with a starting salary of $183,400 for fully accomplished candidates.
