Description:

OpenX is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer - Test to join their remote team.
The role involves defining, creating, and delivering innovative features for digital advertising functionality.
The candidate will work with a full-stack team using technologies such as JavaScript, Python, React, and Google Cloud Platform.
Responsibilities include participating in all phases of product development, owning components and processes, monitoring CI pipelines, conducting root cause analysis, and designing automation strategies.
The position requires effective communication and collaboration with project teams and QA organizations.
The candidate will also set coding standards and stay updated with emerging technologies in test automation.

Requirements:

A minimum of 7 years of test automation experience is required.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Go is essential.
The candidate must be willing to work with new programming languages and technologies.
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, testing techniques, and quality assurance principles is necessary.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Spinnaker is required.
Excellent troubleshooting skills to triage complex issues are a must.
Proven leadership and mentoring abilities, with a track record of driving continuous improvement and innovation, are preferred.

The salary range for this position is $185,725 - $218,500 per year, plus bonus and equity.
