Description:

The Staff Software Engineer will work remotely from the San Francisco Bay Area and will be part of a fully remote company.
This role involves building the user interface and backend for a generative AI platform that enables customers to create high-impact AI workflows.
The engineer will report to the Head of Engineering and will primarily focus on developing the SaaS web application.
Responsibilities include contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle, utilizing continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
The engineer will also create and maintain processes, policies, and documentation for application sustainment, security, and privacy.
Establishing and supporting patterns and architectures for front-end, backend, and future applications across cloud providers/platforms is also part of the role.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of both backend and frontend software engineering experience.
Prior experience as a Staff or Principal Engineer or in a similar role is required.
Experience with SaaS, marketing tools, creator tools, and/or machine learning products is a plus.
Proficiency in ReactJS, NextJS, Typescript, and NodeJS is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with the entire product development lifecycle, particularly in early-stage environments.
Previous experience at rapidly scaling SaaS startups is preferred.
Being based in the San Francisco Bay Area is a bonus.
