Description:

The Staff Software Engineer will build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes, including code reviews and unit testing.
This role involves working with product owners to understand detailed requirements and taking ownership of the code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality products to users.
The engineer will design software that is simple to use, allowing customers to extend and customize functionality to meet their specific needs.
Responsibilities include contributing to the design and implementation of new products and features while enhancing the existing product suite.
The position also requires mentoring colleagues and promoting knowledge-sharing within the team.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of experience with Java or a similar object-oriented language.
A passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, along with a focus on reusability and componentization, is essential.
Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations is required.
Familiarity with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue is necessary.
Strong analytical and design skills are important for success in this role.
The ability to manage projects with material technical risk at a team level is also required.

The position offers a base pay range of $142,700 - $249,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits.
