Description:

  • Tebra is seeking a fullstack Staff Software Engineer to modernize their billing platform.
  • The role involves designing and implementing architectural solutions for scalable systems that align with business needs.
  • Responsibilities include leading cloud integration efforts, ensuring seamless connectivity and monitoring of cloud services, focusing on microservices and TSA architectural patterns.
  • The engineer will drive code reviews, providing feedback to enhance code quality and maintainability.
  • Collaboration with teams to integrate cloud solutions, optimize performance, and establish monitoring practices is essential.
  • The position offers the opportunity to shape the platform's future with cutting-edge solutions that prioritize scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Key areas of focus include software development, architecture design, cloud technology expertise, code reviews and mentorship, collaboration, performance optimization, agile development, and staying current with emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering complex software solutions is required.
  • Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot for building scalable and secure backend systems is essential.
  • Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with React and frontend web technologies is required.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end workflows and state management is needed.
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is required.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native technologies, including containers, serverless, and CI/CD pipelines, is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented design principles, and cloud-native application design is required.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment practices is essential, along with familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Harness, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB, is required, along with an understanding of database design and optimization.
