Staff Engineers at Array are hands-on technical leaders responsible for building and shipping high-quality products.
They are involved in the full development lifecycle, from design to deployment, and drive key technical initiatives across the organization.
Staff Engineers collaborate closely with engineering teams, product managers, and cross-functional partners to ensure efficient product development aligned with business objectives.
Selected candidates will participate in a 90-day evaluation period, typically structured as a 1099 or C2C contract, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time employment.
During the evaluation period, candidates will work on complex tasks, utilize AI tools, and collaborate with senior leadership.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience building a new product from scratch that has shipped and onboarded users.
An understanding that code is disposable and that AI copilots can enhance efficiency is required.
Candidates should be excited about AI and have experience leveraging it in their work.
Experience across multiple stacks and platforms such as Hotwire Turbo (or HTMX), Svelte, Python, and Go is necessary.
Candidates must have experience with database server development using PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
A penchant for building developer tools is preferred.
Strong opinions on quality and the ability to teach others to form their own opinions are essential.
A bias towards action and delivery in iterative phases rather than seeking perfection is required.
