Description:
The Staff Software Engineer position at Honor is focused on enhancing efficiency across various functional groups by automating high-touch user workflows on the care platform.
The role involves stacking foundational solution patterns to build cohesive user experiences and lowering the operational cost of running the care platform.
The ideal candidate will be creative, think outside the box, and build simple and elegant solutions for a diverse group of stakeholders.
Responsibilities include taking ownership of initiatives from concept to production and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The position requires experience in building and maintaining production-grade features in Python or similar languages like Node.js, working with legacy code, and designing and implementing large, complex projects.
Candidates should have strong communication skills, experience with distributed systems and cloud services like AWS, and be willing to participate in an on-call rotation.
Additional qualifications include familiarity with technology startups, RPC architecture, microservice architecture, frontend development with JavaScript frameworks like React, observability and monitoring tools like DataDog, and mentoring other engineers.
