Description:
Ironclad is the #1 contract lifecycle management platform for innovative companies, helping them manage contracts efficiently.
As a Staff Software Engineer on the AI Incubation team, you will work cross-functionally to identify business problems and architect, build, and verify solutions.
You will build a platform that enables lawyers to scale their businesses effectively.
The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to spec, design, and build features and systems.
You will partner with quality engineers to define, build, and maintain a testing strategy.
Leading technical discussions, mentoring, and providing feedback to other engineers will be part of your responsibilities.
You will also be involved in interviewing and recruiting talented engineers to join Ironclad.
The position requires designing and building data-intensive solutions to help Ironclad scale.
You will work with a modern tech stack including TypeScript, ReactJS, Node.js, Java, and Docker containers in Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform.
Requirements:
You must have at least 5+ years of software experience in architecting, building, launching, and maintaining complex systems.
Leadership experience across teams and a drive to improve overall technical architecture is essential.
A passion for software engineering and a commitment to building and shipping great products is required.
Hands-on experience in shipping valuable products to production with real user feedback is necessary.
You should maintain a high bar for quality and possess strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills.
Strong software engineering fundamentals, including modularity, abstraction, data structures, and algorithms, are required.
Optional experience includes taking products from 0 to 1, building products powered by GenAI or ML, and prompt engineering.

The base salary range for this position is $190,000 - $210,000, with additional equity awards and competitive health and wellness benefits.
