Remote Staff Software Engineer (Analytics & Intelligence)

Description:

• The Staff Software Engineer (Analytics & Intelligence) position at HackerOne involves working with the Analytics and Intelligence team to deliver analytics and reporting capabilities to customers while innovating features based on platform data.
• The role requires collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and Principal Engineers to lead complex projects and develop high-impact solutions for actionable insights.
• Responsibilities include onboarding, building project components, working as a project lead, maintaining features, delivering key results, participating in cross-squad initiatives, and mentoring other engineers.
• The minimum qualifications include 8+ years of SAAS development experience, proficiency in dynamically typed OOP languages like JavaScript, Objective-C, PHP, Python, or Ruby, practical SQL experience, React JS proficiency, and remote work capability in the US or Canada.
• Preferred qualifications consist of experience in Ruby on Rails, React JS, GraphQL, Amazon Web Services, and coordinating efforts with senior engineers and product managers.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of development experience within a SAAS environment.
• Proficiency in dynamically typed, OOP languages such as JavaScript, Objective-C, PHP, Python, or Ruby.
• Practical SQL experience, with PostgreSQL preferred.
• Experience with React JS or similar libraries.
• Ability to lead technical projects through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Must be based remotely in Canada or the US.
