Description:

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Applications Platform team, which powers core backend services central to Rula’s operations and user experiences.
In this role, you will design and build scalable systems that provide data and services across multiple verticals.
You will ensure the platform remains reliable, maintainable, and ready for future growth.
As a technical leader, you will drive architectural decisions and mentor team members.
You will play a critical role in shaping the systems that underpin our platform and enable teams across Rula to deliver exceptional value.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience is required.
You must have 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
Demonstrable experience in a role providing technical leadership and mentorship is necessary.
Experience delivering highly scalable, reliable, available, and performant systems is essential.
You should have a demonstrated success in building positive relationships with partners and stakeholders.
A proven track record of modern applications design architecture, good API design patterns, security, performance, and scaling is required.
