Description:
- The Staff Software Engineer will work on the HackerOne Pentest product, collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and Principal Engineers.
- They will lead technical projects, collaborate with security researchers and hackers, and develop features for HackerOne's platform.
- Responsibilities include working on challenging projects, mentoring other engineers, and making technical improvements.
- The role involves building, shipping, and maintaining features, focusing on hacker-facing areas of the platform.
- The Staff Engineer will be part of cross-squad initiatives and work towards impactful objectives.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of general Software Engineering experience is required.
- Experience with dynamically typed, OOP languages like JavaScript, Objective-C, PHP, Python, or Ruby, as well as Bash.
- Practical SQL experience, with a preference for PostgreSQL (3+ years).
- Experience with React JS or similar libraries.
- Documented experience leading technical projects through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Must be based remotely in Canada or the US and excel in a remote work environment.
