Description:
The company is looking for a talented full stack software engineer to join their cloud applications team.
Responsibilities include working as a full-stack developer on the team, contributing to application enhancement, new features, and maintenance.
The role involves supporting internal R&D members and customers using the platform.
Collaboration with algorithm developers, bioinformaticians, and cloud engineers to understand product requirements and architect efficient solutions is required.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 10+ years of industry experience are required.
Strong experience in React, Vue.JS, or Next.js (Angular also considered) is necessary.
Working knowledge of Python and experience with Docker are essential.
Proficiency in code structure, modularization, and integration concerns is required.
Good understanding of software testing strategies such as unit tests and integration testing is necessary.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar is a must.
Familiarity with maintaining a development workflow comprising testing, CI, high code coverage, and automation is required.
Knowledge of best practices around packaging and deployment to distributed cloud applications platforms is essential.
Familiarity with continuous integration platforms like GitHub Actions or CircleCI is necessary.
Experience with front-end testing frameworks and tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, or similar is required.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, and move to different projects is required.
Benefits:
The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States of America is $135,000 - $230,000.
Compensation decisions are based on factors like the level of the position, individual skills, knowledge, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Full-time employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus program and equity as part of the compensation package.
