Remote Staff Software Engineer

Description:

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 10+ years of industry experience are required.
• Strong experience in React, Vue.JS, or Next.js (Angular also considered) is necessary.
• Working knowledge of Python and experience with Docker are essential.
• Proficiency in code structure, modularization, and integration concerns is required.
• Good understanding of software testing strategies such as unit tests and integration testing is necessary.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar is a must.
• Familiarity with maintaining a development workflow comprising testing, CI, high code coverage, and automation is required.
• Knowledge of best practices around packaging and deployment to distributed cloud applications platforms is essential.
• Familiarity with continuous integration platforms like GitHub Actions or CircleCI is necessary.
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks and tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, or similar is required.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, and move to different projects is required.

Benefits:

• The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States of America is $135,000 - $230,000.
• Compensation decisions are based on factors like the level of the position, individual skills, knowledge, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
