Description:

  • Imprint is a company focused on reimagining co-branded credit cards and financial products to enhance brand loyalty and customer experience.
  • The Spend Team is responsible for developing the core functionality of the app, including rewards configurations and API integrations.
  • The staff engineer will oversee backend product feature development, ensuring robustness, scalability, and reliability.
  • Responsibilities include mentoring software engineers, managing project execution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • The role involves regular communication with stakeholders, ensuring high-quality coding standards, and implementing testing strategies.
  • The engineer will promote innovation within the team and stay informed about industry trends to enhance the platform.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience working on Product Engineering teams is required.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in leading architecture and design of systems is necessary.
  • Candidates should have a strong background in developing financial platforms, particularly with ledger technology.
  • A proven track record of building and delivering mission-critical, 24x7 production software systems is essential.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills are required.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills are necessary.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies is expected.
  • A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive is essential for this role.
