This position is backend focused and deals with reliability, load, and scale in all operations.
The role involves system design thinking, writing reliable and quality code, and maintaining an extreme customer focus.
Responsibilities include designing and building scalable distributed solutions for customers and employees, evolving core banking platform systems, leading large-scale projects with a customer-first mindset, mentoring engineers, influencing technical strategy, and working cross-functionally with various teams.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of industry experience in software development, leading large and strategic high-impact areas in business.
Technical leadership and ownership in bringing multiple engineering functions to production are required.
Experience with scalable, distributed systems and a test-first approach is necessary.
A deep understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures is essential.
Candidates should have experience in maintaining strong consistency in a distributed environment, working with transactional databases, and utilizing caching systems.
A deep understanding of software security practices is required.
Experience with testing methodologies, including contract testing and testing in vendor environments, is necessary.

The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $200,000 per year, based on function, level, and geographic location.
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the identified range.
