Remote Staff Software Engineer

Description:

• Develop modern, scalable applications as a Full Stack Software Engineer at Vericast.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to build and maintain services and web-based applications.
• Work on both client- and server-side functionality to deliver new features.
• Contribute to improving the quality and efficiency of development platforms and processes.
• Work closely with UX designers, engineering teams, and product owners to create interactive applications.
• Utilize technologies like React, Angular, Java, Python, and PostgreSQL in building a self-service portal for digital campaigns.

Requirements:

• Hold a BS in Computer Science or related field, or have equivalent work experience.
• Possess 6+ years of relevant development experience with strong object-oriented or functional programming skills.
• Demonstrate proficiency in system architecture, design, and analytical problem-solving.
• Have experience with frontend web technologies like React or Angular, and high-level languages such as Java or Python.
• Preferred skills include technical leadership, Agile/Scrum experience, scalability, algorithms, data structures, SQL proficiency, and good software design practices.
