Description:
Orkes is a platform for developers to build durable, distributed event-driven applications based on the Conductor orchestration engine.
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will guide the technical evaluation phase in a hands-on environment throughout the sales process.
You will be a key part of the sales team, acting as a technical advisor and working with the product team as an advocate for customers in the field.
You will help customers achieve tangible data-driven outcomes through the use of Orkes Enterprise Cloud, establishing a clear architectural vision and identifying compelling use cases.
Your responsibilities will include engaging with the technical community, leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups, and forming successful relationships with clients to provide technical and business value.
Requirements:
8+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
Pre- or post-sales experience in sectors like Retail, FinTech, CyberSecurity, HealthCare, Application Modernization, and building scalable reliable platforms.
Proven experience demonstrating technical concepts, including presenting and whiteboarding.
Experience designing and implementing architectures within a public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
At least 3+ years with an IaC technology like Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or ArgoCD.
At least 2+ years with an observability stack like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk, OpenTelemetry, DataDog, or New Relic.
Fluent coding experience in Java, C#, Python, GoLang, or Javascript.
