Remote Staff Software Engineer - BitGo Prime

Description:

• BitGo is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Prime Engineering team and assist in developing new features and applications for enterprise clients.
• The role involves building resilient APIs, libraries, and services for financial services like clearing, settlement, digital asset lending, trading, and liquidity.
• Responsibilities include owning features from inception to deployment, collaborating with engineering teams, and providing mentorship.
• The position is primarily remote with a requirement to be in the office on Wednesdays.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of back-end software development experience.
• Proficiency in algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
• Strong skills in TypeScript/Node.JS, SQL databases, RESTful API design, testing, and debugging.
• Experience with microservices, Git/GitHub, CI tools, and service-oriented architectures.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and participate in on-call rotations.
• Preferred qualifications include experience in Financial Services, asynchronous programming, and familiarity with digital asset trading and blockchain technology.
