Remote Staff Software Engineer - BitGo Prime

Description:

• BitGo is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Prime Engineering team and assist in developing new features and applications for enterprise clients.
• The role involves designing and constructing resilient APIs, libraries, and services for financial services like clearing, settlement, digital asset lending, trading, and liquidity.
• Responsibilities include taking ownership of functionality and scalability features from inception to deployment, collaborating with engineering teams, and providing mentorship.
• The position is primarily remote with a requirement for in-office attendance on Wednesdays for those near the NYC office.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of back-end, server-side software development experience.
• Proficiency in algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
• Strong skills in TypeScript/Node.JS, SQL databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL), RESTful API design, and unit/functional testing.
• Experience with microservices, service-oriented architectures, Git/GitHub, CI tools, and code review tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and participate in on-call rotations.
• Preferred qualifications include experience in Financial Services/Financial Technology, asynchronous programming, functional programming, and familiarity with digital asset trading/lending.
