Description:
Join ABBYY as a Staff Software Engineer focusing on C++ and Computer Vision in a remote position.

Work with a diverse portfolio of over 10,000 customers, including many Fortune 500 companies, to solve complex problems through intelligent automation.
Drive the modernization and evolution of the C++ Computer Vision library, developing new algorithms for Intelligent Document Processing (IDP).
Deliver high-performance Computer Vision solutions that support product teams, utilizing a library that includes Classical Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning algorithms.
Design and implement core library architecture while mentoring team members and collaborating across functions.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience is necessary.
Strong background in C++ development and cross-platform library design is essential.
Experience with at least a couple of platforms such as Windows, Linux, and Mac is required.
Proven experience in building and maintaining production-grade software systems is necessary.
Deep knowledge of modern C++ and expertise in software architecture and design patterns is required.
Strong understanding of Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms and techniques is essential.
Experience with performance optimization and profiling is necessary.
Knowledge of low-level system programming considerations is required.
A history of building maintainable, well-tested software components is essential.
Experience in technically guiding a team and mentoring engineers on technical challenges is required.
Strong team collaboration and communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to work effectively across technical teams.
