Description:
Everbridge is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their team in Hungary, with the position being remote/home-based.
The role involves working in a dynamic team that values proactivity and initiative, particularly in urgent contexts serving emergency responders globally.
Responsibilities include contributing to technical decisions within a multi-disciplinary SCRUM team, developing high-quality software solutions using modern web and backend technologies, and utilizing a microservice architecture.
The engineer will work with technologies such as .NET, .NET Core, AspNet Core, Angular, and similar frameworks to create scalable and robust applications.
Staying updated on new platform improvements and integrating them into the development process is essential.
A commitment to learning new skills and technologies, as well as keeping abreast of emerging trends and industry developments, is expected.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields is required.
Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, specifically with C# and .NET.
Experience in building scalable web applications is necessary.
Proficiency in front-end development with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Ionic is required.
Expertise in .NET Framework and .NET Core is essential.
A strong understanding of Object-Oriented design patterns and best practices is needed.
Knowledge of security, performance, SaaS, and RESTful services is required.
Experience with SPA web applications using Angular v8+ or Ionic is necessary.
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS is required.
Familiarity with Node.js, npm, Karma, and GIT is expected.
Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and Postgres is necessary.
Experience with WCF, message-oriented middleware, SOA, SOAP, and WS-* is required.
Bonus to have:
Experience with the Ionic framework is highly desirable.
Experience working with DevOps automation tools is a plus.
A basic understanding of Cloud Architecture is beneficial.
Knowledge of Network communication is a plus.
Familiarity with GIS (ESRI, OpenLayer) systems is advantageous.
