Description:

  • The position allows for involvement in "Staff Dev Projects," which may include cross-team initiatives and addressing technical debt.
  • The work environment is flexible, allowing employees to work remotely across Canada or in a hybrid setting from offices in Edmonton or Toronto.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have demonstrated expertise in developing scalable software solutions across multiple technology layers.
  • Proven leadership experience in guiding teams through complex projects is essential.
  • Exceptional skills in software design, architecture, and coding with a focus on maintainability and performance are required.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills are necessary to enhance team productivity through mentorship.
  • Self-motivation and resourcefulness are important for identifying resources for project delivery.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments is crucial.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies is expected.
  • Experience with the development stack (React, React Native, TypeScript, GraphQL API, Ruby on Rails on AWS) and leading cross-team initiatives is preferred.
