  • The Staff Software Engineer will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for writing production code daily and driving architectural decisions.
  • The role involves scaling the platform, solving complex problems, and ensuring best practices are followed by the engineering team.
  • The engineer will own the end-to-end development of key product features, mentor other engineers, and collaborate with product and design teams.
  • Responsibilities include architecting systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability, as well as leading large releases to production.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 7+ years of full-stack engineering experience with expertise in both frontend and backend technologies.
  • Mastery of React, TypeScript, and Node.js is required, along with a proven track record of shipping production-grade applications.
  • A strong background in scalable system design, API development, and database architecture is necessary.
  • Experience in fast-paced startup environments where products have been built and shipped from scratch is essential.
  • The ability to set technical direction and mentor engineers is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges are necessary.
  • Candidates must have an extreme bias toward action and execution, moving fast and iterating quickly.
