The Staff Software Engineer, Cloud FinOps role is part of the Platform Infrastructure team, which manages a resilient and cost-effective platform handling billions of events daily.
The position involves implementing and driving cost optimizations across the software stack, collaborating with engineers, product managers, and the finance team.
Responsibilities include spearheading FinOps initiatives, providing mentorship on cost-optimization, analyzing and resolving infrastructure issues, and developing automation workflows.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in FinOps or cloud cost management is required.
At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, development, or related roles is necessary.
Proficiency in technologies such as AWS, Datadog, Kubernetes, Vantage, Terraform, and Java is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail are essential.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities are necessary for this role.
The ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment is required.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,400 - $240,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.
