Requirements:
You must have 10+ years of experience developing Linux-based production systems with a strong understanding of Linux kernel internals, including Memory Management, Process Scheduling, I/O Scheduling, Socket Buffers, Virtualization/KVM, Live Migration, eBPF, and perf.
You should have 10+ years of experience developing core public cloud internals, including Kernel, Device Drivers, Virtualization, KVM, QEMU, Software Defined Networking, Security, and Fleet Health and Performance Monitoring.
You need the ability to architect a resilient, large-scale, distributed system from scratch and have a deep understanding of x86_64, aarch64, and GPUs.
A strong background in C programming is required, and knowledge of Rust, Python, and Go is a plus. You should have a minimum of 10 years implementing business-critical systems from initial conception to successful launch.
You must have at least 5 years of experience as a technical lead for one or multiple teams.
You should have 5+ years of experience mentoring junior employees.
A degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or physics is preferred.
You will be successful in this role if you have led and taken full ownership over large, ambiguous, cross-team projects from conception to production, enjoy moving fast and making a large business impact, and value working on a team of high performers that hold each other accountable.
