The company is building a world-class team to enhance its 3D dental platform and automate human-driven processes in manufacturing.
The role involves tackling problems related to 3D geometric computer vision, generative deep learning, and state-of-the-art machine learning methods.
Responsibilities include making technical decisions on algorithmic strategy, setting up systems to accelerate team velocity, guiding junior engineers, and implementing current computer vision and machine learning approaches.
The position requires recovering optical properties of human teeth from images and developing realistic rendering pipelines to match patients' dental aesthetics.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in software development.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in rendering or related projects is required.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in 2D or 3D computer vision.
Experience in bringing research products to market is necessary.
Familiarity with simulating optical properties of materials, inverse rendering, photo-realistic rendering, and normalization of true color/material properties is essential.
Experience with neural rendering, NeRFs, and lighting reconstruction is preferred.
A Master's or PhD in computer vision, computer graphics, or a related field is a bonus.
