Description:

  • Jobber is a company that helps small home service businesses improve their service delivery through technology.
  • The Customer Success Engineering team is focused on building and automating tools to empower Customer Success teams and benefit multiple departments.
  • As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead the technical vision, architect scalable solutions, collaborate with teams, mentor engineers, and enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • You will collaborate with the team to deliver impactful features, shape the roadmap with Product and Design, lead larger initiatives, participate in code reviews, and facilitate group discussions.
  • You will mentor and coach engineers, advocate for best practices, simplify technical issues, and continuously learn and grow.
  • Successful candidates should have strong software design skills, full-stack engineering experience, ability to learn new tools, excellent communication skills, and a passion for continuous learning.
  • Familiarity with tech stack and experience with AWS, Docker, and SQL are beneficial but not mandatory.

Requirements:

  • Strong software design and architecture skills.
