Description:

SureCost is seeking a skilled Staff Software Engineer to work fully remote in the United States.
The role involves owning feature delivery from ideation to implementation while collaborating closely with the Product team.
Responsibilities include leading a team of engineers, maintaining a feedback loop with stakeholders, and coordinating with other domain owners.
The engineer will perform analysis, design, development, and unit testing of complex software applications.
The position requires creating web solutions utilizing best-practice technologies and participating in an agile team process.
The engineer will also participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in software design and development.
A BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills are essential, with the ability to break down complex challenges.
Technical expertise required includes proficiency in Java/JEE, Spring Framework, Struts, Hibernate, SQL development, and microservices-based development.
Experience with AWS services and git-based repositories is necessary.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and practices is required, including code generation and optimization.

The position offers a fully remote work environment with unlimited PTO, highly suggested at a minimum of three weeks.
