Description:
As a Staff Software Engineer for Linktree’s Data Platform team, you will be instrumental in constructing a robust and scalable data platform to enhance innovative experiences in the core product.
Your work will unlock new opportunities for tens of millions of users and billions of visitors globally, aligning with Linktree’s mission of empowering individuals to curate, grow, and monetize their digital presence.
Collaborate with a skilled team of engineers, analysts, data scientists, and product managers to develop frameworks, tools, and services supporting technologies like semantic search, recommender systems, and content understanding.
Join at a pivotal time as the company transitions to a self-serve data platform, contributing to shaping the data strategy and driving future success.
Responsibilities include implementing various data, ML, and AI technologies, enhancing event ingestion, data warehouses, pipelines, and integration systems, designing scalable systems for internal teams, guiding the data strategy, managing experiments, mentoring peers, and promoting best practices for data and ML adoption.
Requirements:
5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on building scalable data platforms, familiarity with data technologies like Spark, data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, and cloud platforms like AWS.
Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Typescript, experience with infrastructure as code tools like CDK.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
