Description:

As a Staff Software Engineer at Stavvy, you will play a crucial role in the Engineering team, contributing to the vision and development of the core application.
You will provide direction and guidance for large feature work, assist in refactoring to enhance user experience, and be involved in the development of new services in Kotlin/Java and Python.
Collaborate with product, design, and development teams to understand requirements and lead investigations to resolve production issues.
Mentor other engineers, review code for quality, and continuously improve engineering skills.

Requirements:

Possess a strong development background with over 10 years of experience in Java/Kotlin, Python, or other environments.
Demonstrate solid computer science fundamentals, hands-on experience in architectural design, and designing scalable systems.
Have a deep understanding of creating modern SaaS-based web applications and cloud infrastructure development (preferably AWS).
Familiarity with Git, back-end deployment best practices, SQL databases, and caching schemes.
Experience with performance and load testing, DataDog, and observability is a plus.
Skilled in conflict management, collaboration, problem-solving, and customer-centric approach.

Competitive salary range of $200,000 - $225,000 for the full-time position.
