Description:

  • The Staff Software Engineer will play a critical role in making Reddit’s experimentation platform world-class by bridging the gap between user-facing features and underlying infrastructure.
  • Responsibilities include building new experimentation platform features, architecting frontend infrastructure, and directing the evolution and adoption of best practices and standards.
  • The role involves architecting, implementing, and maintaining a state-of-the-art experimentation platform that powers experimentation across all of Reddit.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally, increase developer efficiency through automation, and participate in the full development cycle.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of professional Software Development experience with a focus on full stack software engineering.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies like TypeScript/JavaScript and experience with component frameworks (React, Angular, Lit).
  • Experience with Postgres/SQL database systems, ideally applied in large-scale data analysis products.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Ability to integrate front-end and back-end systems efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in a fully-remote environment.
