Description:
- The Staff Software Engineer will play a critical role in making Reddit’s experimentation platform world-class by bridging the gap between user-facing features and underlying infrastructure.
- Responsibilities include building new experimentation platform features, architecting frontend infrastructure, and directing the evolution and adoption of best practices and standards.
- The role involves architecting, implementing, and maintaining a state-of-the-art experimentation platform that powers experimentation across all of Reddit.
- The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally, increase developer efficiency through automation, and participate in the full development cycle.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional Software Development experience with a focus on full stack software engineering.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies like TypeScript/JavaScript and experience with component frameworks (React, Angular, Lit).
- Experience with Postgres/SQL database systems, ideally applied in large-scale data analysis products.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Ability to integrate front-end and back-end systems efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in a fully-remote environment.
