Description:
The Staff Software Engineer will play a critical role in making Reddit’s experimentation platform world-class by bridging the gap between user-facing features and underlying infrastructure.
Responsibilities include building new experimentation platform features, architecting frontend infrastructure, and directing the evolution and adoption of best practices and standards.
The role involves architecting, implementing, and maintaining a state-of-the-art experimentation platform that powers experimentation across all of Reddit.
The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally, increase developer efficiency through automation, and participate in the full development cycle.
Requirements:
7+ years of professional Software Development experience with a focus on full stack software engineering.
Proficiency in front-end technologies like TypeScript/JavaScript and experience with component frameworks (React, Angular, Lit).
Experience with Postgres/SQL database systems, ideally applied in large-scale data analysis products.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Ability to integrate front-end and back-end systems efficiently.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in a fully-remote environment.
