Description:

  • Reddit is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for their Experimentation Platform team to drive innovation and growth through A/B testing.
  • The role involves building new features, architecting frontend infrastructure, and setting best practices for experimentation across Reddit.
  • Responsibilities include designing, developing, and supporting Reddit's Experimentation Platform, building data products, and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • The position requires participation in the full development cycle, from design to deployment, and increasing developer efficiency through automation and system optimization.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of professional Software Development experience post-graduation is required.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (React, Angular, Lit), Python or Golang for front-end and/or backend technologies is necessary.
  • Experience with A/B testing infrastructure, analytics tools, Postgres/SQL databases, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop end-to-end web applications, integrate systems efficiently, and communicate effectively in a remote environment is a must.
