• The role is for a Staff Software Engineer, which is a full-time remote position available in Brazil or Argentina.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a strong technical background with at least 7 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience in architecting and designing full-stack systems that have made a significant impact on a business is required.
• A generalist approach is preferred, with the ability to work on frontend, backend, infrastructure, data pipelines, or billing pipelines as needed.
• Candidates should be skilled in collaborating with technical and cross-functional stakeholders, building alignment, driving decision-making, and communicating transparently.
• Experience in mentoring and developing engineers and peers is essential.
• A high standard in coding, code review, and development best practices is expected.
• A proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality production services and systems is necessary.
• A customer-centric approach with empathy towards users is important.
• Candidates must thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Golang and Google Cloud is a plus.
• Proficiency in English, from casual conversations to formal reports, is required.
