Description:

  • Ramp is a financial operations platform designed to save businesses time and money by combining corporate cards with expense management, bill payments, vendor management, and accounting automation.

  • As a Staff Software Engineer focusing on frontend development, you will advocate for your team, solve frontend challenges, and engage in hands-on coding.
  • You will help establish the team’s vision and scale product success in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • The tech stack includes TypeScript, React, styled-components, and Vite.
  • Responsibilities include building, leading a team of frontend engineers, collaborating on technical vision, leading complex project discussions, and improving engineering processes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of frontend engineering experience is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of technical leadership experience leading and/or managing teams is required.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and React is essential.
  • A strong ability to create visually appealing designs is necessary.
  • A proven track record of shipping high-quality products and leading projects at scale is required.
  • The ability to translate business and product ideas into engineering solutions is important.
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced environment and continuously grow in your craft is expected.
