Description:
As a Staff Software Engineer at StackAdapt, you will play a critical role in advising on full-stack technical decisions that impact the Audiences & CDP domain.
You will be responsible for unpacking ambiguity and complexity, advising and delegating work to deliver greenfield initiatives.
Communication on complex technical endeavors verbally and in technical design documents with precision and clarity is essential.
You will advise the team on pragmatic technical approaches that encourage engineering excellence and developer happiness.
Planning ahead by strategically architecting scalable web APIs, component libraries, and backend systems is part of your role.
Collaborating with stakeholders and senior engineers to identify and solve technical challenges that drive impact across teams.
Mentoring the team, leading by example in software development best practices, and conducting code and tech spec reviews.
Identifying bottlenecks and system-wide performance issues, offering actionable solutions to address them.
Being a significant individual contributor in delivering critical projects that bring value to customers.
Conducting technical interviews to attract potential high-performing candidates.
Requirements:
6+ years of experience building highly performant web applications with outstanding UX.
Knowledge of full-stack technologies like React, Typescript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and Go is highly preferred.
Extensive experience with a test-driven approach to writing code.
Collaborating closely with Product & Design to design, implement, and iterate on high-impact product experiences.
Working with relational databases and key-value stores.
Analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing web application performance.
Leading large-scale modernization efforts to revamp legacy systems.
