Description:
Bombas is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack to lead the evolution of their Content Management System.
The role involves leading complex projects from scoping to delivery, contributing high-quality technical work, and mentoring other senior engineers.
The Staff Software Engineer will work on enhancing existing tools to empower internal stakeholders like content creators and the marketing team to deliver captivating user experiences on the website.
The position offers the opportunity to work remotely within the U.S. or at Bombas HQ in New York City.
Requirements:
Minimum of 8+ years of overall experience.
Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
Expertise in system design principles and modern JavaScript libraries and tooling (e.g., React, Next.js, Webpack, ESBuild, Styled Components).
Proficiency in modern frontend technologies and tools (e.g., A11y-compliant HTML, Storybook JS, Sass).
Experience with dynamic or scripting languages (e.g., TypeScript, Ruby, Go) and working with third-party APIs.
Knowledge of modern data systems, cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), and observability platforms (e.g., Splunk, Datadog).
Familiarity with Serverless Framework, Datadog, Prisma, or GraphQL is a plus.
