Description:

  • StackAdapt is a self-serve advertising platform specializing in multi-channel solutions including native, display, video, connected TV, audio, in-game, and digital out-of-home ads.
  • The company empowers hundreds of digitally-focused companies to deliver outcomes and exceptional campaign performance every day.
  • As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be involved in the development of the advertising platform, producing production-level code that impacts the product's success.
  • You will work with large data sets and modern tech stacks such as GoLang, Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL.
  • The role involves advising on full-stack technical decisions, unpacking ambiguity, and communicating complex technical endeavors clearly.
  • You will mentor the team, uphold software development best practices, and conduct rigorous code and tech spec reviews.
  • The position is remote and open to candidates located anywhere in North America.

Requirements:

  • You must have 6+ years of experience building highly performant web applications with outstanding UX.
  • Knowledge of full-stack technologies such as React, Typescript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and Go is highly preferred.
  • Extensive experience with a test-driven approach to writing code using core full-stack technologies is required.
  • You should have experience collaborating closely with Product & Design to create high-impact end-to-end product experiences.
  • Experience working with relational databases and key-value stores is necessary.
  • You must have experience analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing web application performance across the entire stack.
  • Experience leading large-scale modernization efforts to revamp legacy systems is essential.
  • An appetite for unpacking complexity and simplifying it wherever possible is expected.
