Description:
StackAdapt is a self-serve advertising platform specializing in multi-channel solutions including native, display, video, connected TV, audio, in-game, and digital out-of-home ads.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be involved in the development of the advertising platform, producing production-level code that impacts the product's success.
You will work with large data sets and modern tech stacks such as GoLang, Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL.
The role involves advising on full-stack technical decisions, unpacking ambiguity, and communicating complex technical endeavors clearly.
You will mentor the team, uphold software development best practices, and conduct rigorous code and tech spec reviews.
The position is remote and open to candidates located anywhere in North America.
Requirements:
You must have 6+ years of experience building highly performant web applications with outstanding UX.
Knowledge of full-stack technologies such as React, Typescript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and Go is highly preferred.
Extensive experience with a test-driven approach to writing code using core full-stack technologies is required.
You should have experience collaborating closely with Product & Design to create high-impact end-to-end product experiences.
Experience working with relational databases and key-value stores is necessary.
You must have experience analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing web application performance across the entire stack.
Experience leading large-scale modernization efforts to revamp legacy systems is essential.
An appetite for unpacking complexity and simplifying it wherever possible is expected.
