Description:
AffiniPay, a leading fintech company based in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Full Stack Staff Software Engineer to contribute to building new products and enhancing capabilities for users.
The selected candidate will work on the Smart Spend product, impacting a diverse customer base from individual entrepreneurs to established enterprises.
Responsibilities include leading technical decisions, designing scalable applications in microservice architecture, mentoring other engineers, collaborating with product managers and UX, supporting software deployments, and staying updated on industry trends.
The role involves working with Kubernetes, cloud technologies, JavaScript frameworks, and building fintech solutions.
The ideal candidate should have a BS in Computer Science, 7+ years of experience in cloud-based environments, familiarity with LEAN product development and Agile frameworks, and expertise in event-based, microservices architecture.
Strong teamwork and documentation skills are essential for this position.
Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or related field
7+ years of experience designing, implementing, monitoring, and debugging large-scale solutions in cloud-based environments
Experience building and deploying production-grade web applications at scale
Familiarity with LEAN product development and Agile frameworks - Scrum or Kanban
Experience building robust and resilient applications with event-based, microservices architecture
Strong understanding of SOLID design principles and design patterns
Strong understanding with SQL, and familiarity with databases such as Postgres or MySql
Strong teamwork and documentation skills
