Owner.com is seeking a mission-driven Staff Software Engineer, Full-Stack to join their remote team.
The role involves building new products and features from the ground up, taking ownership of projects from conception to shipping, and ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.
The engineer will deliver value to end users across the entire system while maintaining high standards for code quality, testing, and design discussions.
Responsibilities include shaping product direction through user engagement and collaboration, mentoring junior teammates, and contributing to the engineering culture by interviewing candidates and referring great engineers.
The company operates with a tech stack that includes React, Next.js, Vue for the frontend, and Node.js, Mongo, and Typescript for the backend.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of experience building applications.
Extensive experience with Typescript is required.
Experience with scaling frontend stacks (React, Next.js) and/or backend stacks (Node.js, Mongo, AWS) is necessary.
A background in product-focused startups or technology companies is preferred.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate a high degree of cross-functional collaboration and leadership, with positive feedback from product managers, designers, and business leaders in previous roles.
A commitment to continuous professional development and a lifelong-learner mindset is essential.
Strong ownership, drive, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks are required.

The estimated starting base salary range for this role is $190K-$230K, depending on level, location, and experience, along with a generous pre-IPO equity package.
