The Staff Software Engineer will own the architecture and lead the development of critical components of the Agiloft platform.
Responsibilities include leading the design, development, and deployment of software solutions, making architectural decisions, and mentoring junior engineers.
The role involves collaboration with data scientists, product managers, and CloudOps engineers to develop production-ready software.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a comparable field of study is required.
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in technical leadership roles.
Extensive experience in developing frontend applications, backend interfaces, and SaaS architecture integration is necessary.
Deep knowledge of best practices for modern frontend application design and integration with backend services is required.
Proficiency in JavaScript and ideally TypeScript, as well as Java with JEE experience, is essential.
A deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles is required.
Candidates should have 2+ years of hands-on experience with Vue.js.
Experience in crafting and owning CI/CD pipelines using infrastructure-as-code frameworks like Terraform is necessary.
Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills are essential.
Demonstrated experience in leading technical projects and mentoring engineers is required.
Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders are necessary.
Proficiency in using relevant AI tools in the software development lifecycle is required.
