Machinify is seeking a Staff Full-stack Software Engineer to join their team, focusing on developing user-centric and performant web applications.
The role involves building new feature development and architecting backend services to optimally serve the product's user interface.
Responsibilities include developing applications, owning projects aligned with product development strategy, designing solutions for user experience, and contributing to the platform's extensibility, scalability, and security.
The engineer will collaborate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

Candidates should have 6-10 years of production application development experience.
Proficiency in modern Javascript, React, CSS/HTML, and familiarity with TypeScript is required.
Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Python, Rust, Rails, Java, or Go is necessary.
Experience working with and integrating web APIs or micro-services is essential.
Candidates must be able to read and understand complex enterprise-grade code, contribute to it, and suggest improvements.
Excellent debugging skills, with an emphasis on identifying root causes and preventing future bugs, are required.
Experience implementing best practices for incorporating AI into user flows is preferred.
Familiarity with standard development tools and processes like Github Workflows, Git, and JIRA is necessary.
Experience creating and building systems in production with over 10,000 users is required.
Candidates should be comfortable with ambiguity and taking the initiative.
A BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
A passion for making an impact in rewiring US healthcare is essential.

The salary range for this position is $180k to $230k, based on various factors unique to each candidate.
