Stream is seeking a Staff Software Engineer proficient in Golang to work on their video SFU & chat API used by popular apps like Strava, Nextdoor, Patreon, IBM, and Adobe.
The company also utilizes CockroachDB/Postgres, RocksDB, Raft, and Redis in addition to Go.
They offer a 10-week internal onboarding program focused on Go and scalability for those experienced in other tech stacks.
Roles range from entry-level to director/principal Go engineers, with the option to work remotely in the EU or in Amsterdam with relocation and Visa sponsorship available.
The salary for this position ranges from around 80k Euro for entry-level roles to 160k for staff/lead level.

Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of backend engineering experience required.
Desired experience in at least 2 out of 3 areas: Go, scalability/database/Redis, SDK development/React/Swift/Compose.
Bonus points for experience with AWS or other cloud providers, Python, Rust, message queues, full-text search, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and WebRTC experience.
