Description:

Apollo is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Growth team, which is crucial for ensuring a smooth onboarding process for customers and maximizing the use of Apollo’s product suite.
The role involves leading the development and delivery of features that enhance user engagement and long-term value.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing complex technical solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, advocating for experimentation, mentoring engineers, and leading end-to-end development of new features.
The position requires working with a modern tech stack, including Kotlin, Rust, React, TypeScript, and Postgres, ensuring successful deployment in a production environment.

Requirements:

Candidates must have extensive experience as a full-stack engineer with a strong understanding of backend systems, infrastructure, and distributed architectures.
Experience in starting and owning projects from scratch is essential, whether as a technical lead, founder, or through significant side projects.
The ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and identify opportunities for technical improvements that align with business goals is required.
Proficiency in various programming languages and technologies, including Kotlin, Rust, or Java, along with a deep understanding of system design and optimization, is necessary.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to bring new features to life are important.
Bonus points for experience with developer-facing tools or building SaaS products in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

The salary range for this position is $167,450 - $211,775 per year, with compensation based on skills, experience, and overall assessment during the hiring process.
