Description:
- JumpCloud is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their remote team in India.
- The role involves synchronizing users, groups, and permissions with non-JumpCloud services to allow organizations to integrate with various SaaS products.
- The engineer will play a crucial role in solving complex problems related to identity, authentication, security, and cloud scaling.
- Technologies used include MongoDB, GoLang, Node, Vagrant, Docker, Saltstack, ELK Stack, and Redis.
- Responsibilities include understanding Active Directory protocols, designing architecture for user authentication, developing web services for AD integration, and planning for a post-Active Directory future.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of industry programming experience in Java, Python, C, or C++, with a willingness to learn Go and NodeJS.
- Experience in developing large-scale web applications, SaaS applications in the cloud, or large distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Linux/OSX/Unix environments and strong database work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong team player with a passion for product and customer satisfaction.
