JumpCloud delivers a unified open directory platform for managing identities, devices, and access across organizations.
The role focuses on synchronizing users, groups, and permissions with non-JumpCloud services.
The position involves integrating with various SaaS products for identity management.
The software engineer will play a pivotal role in solving complex problems related to identity, authentication, security, and cloud scaling.
Technologies used include MongoDB, GoLang, Node, Vagrant, Docker, Saltstack, ELK Stack, and Redis.
Responsibilities include understanding Active Directory protocols, assisting other developers, collaborating with engineering leadership, designing architecture for user authentication, developing web services for AD integration, and planning for a post-Active Directory future.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of programming experience in Java, Python, C, or C++, with a strong interest in learning Go and NodeJS.
A willingness to learn and embrace new technologies, languages, and frameworks is essential.
Strong experience in developing large-scale web applications or SaaS applications in the cloud is required.
Candidates should be comfortable with Linux/OSX/Unix as a desktop development environment.
Strong database experience, including both relational and non-relational databases, is necessary.
A strong team player mentality is important, as the team operates in an Agile environment.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field is required.
A passion for product and customer experience, beyond just coding, is essential.
