Ramp is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for iOS to lead the next iteration of their iOS app with a world-class engineering team.
The role involves designing, leading, building, and launching new products on Ramp’s iOS App.
Responsibilities include driving the core product engineering roadmap, making prioritization and scoping decisions, conducting code reviews, setting engineering standards, mentoring, and ensuring quality.
The engineer will collaborate with Product and Design teams to plan and identify key features and work with product and business teams to understand customer feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in iOS development is required.
At least 2 years of technical leadership experience in leading and/or managing teams is necessary.
Proficiency in Swift for iOS development is essential.
Candidates must have knowledge of iOS UI components and the iOS Developer Platform.
Experience contributing to at least one mobile app or several features that reached a large number of users is required.
A desire to work in a fast-paced environment and continuously grow and master the craft is important.
Candidates should have a drive to learn new technologies and adapt to different situations.
A strong understanding of mobile design patterns and best practices is necessary.
Understanding of security best practices for mobile apps is required.
