Description:

  • Ramp is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for iOS to lead the next iteration of their iOS app with a world-class engineering team.
  • The role involves designing, leading, building, and launching new products on Ramp’s iOS App.
  • Responsibilities include driving the core product engineering roadmap, making prioritization and scoping decisions, conducting code reviews, setting engineering standards, mentoring, and ensuring quality.
  • The engineer will collaborate with Product and Design teams to plan and identify key features and work with product and business teams to understand customer feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in iOS development is required.
  • At least 2 years of technical leadership experience in leading and/or managing teams is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Swift for iOS development is essential.
  • Candidates must have knowledge of iOS UI components and the iOS Developer Platform.
  • Experience contributing to at least one mobile app or several features that reached a large number of users is required.
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced environment and continuously grow and master the craft is important.
  • Candidates should have a drive to learn new technologies and adapt to different situations.
  • A strong understanding of mobile design patterns and best practices is necessary.
  • Understanding of security best practices for mobile apps is required.
