Remote Staff Software Engineer - Issuing, Financial Platform

Description:

• The Staff Software Engineer position in the Issuing team at Cash App's Financial Platform involves designing, building, and supporting core systems for cards programs.
• The role includes refactoring and uplifting existing systems, as well as building new services to creatively solve challenging technical problems at scale.
• Staff Software Engineers will partner closely with various stakeholders to define the roadmap and contribute to the growth of development capabilities by leading, mentoring, and supporting fellow engineers.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience delivering quality software is required for this position.
• Candidates should have a natural curiosity to learn new technologies, solve interesting problems, and build quality software.
• Desire to find flaws in a system with many moving parts and take necessary steps to fix them is essential.
• Technical initiative and leadership on previous projects are expected from applicants.
