Responsibilities include integrating with major carriers like USPS, UPS, and FedEx, and advancing carrier integration technology.
The team simplifies refund processing for customers, ensuring accurate billing and minimizing operational friction.
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead the design of scalable solutions for the label API and carrier integrations.
You will optimize label generation, streamline refund processes, and mentor team members while driving technical excellence.
Key responsibilities include software service design and deployment, promoting microservices, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, and owning system performance.
You will collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and provide on-call support for system incidents.

Requirements:

Proven experience leading high-impact projects with cross-functional teams and setting architectural direction.
Extensive experience designing, optimizing, and implementing scalable APIs, services, and applications.
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with a track record of mentoring engineering talent.
Ability to anticipate customer needs and drive innovation, implementing solutions that align with business goals.
Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java, and experience with MVC frameworks.
Skilled in breaking down complex problems and leading root cause analysis.
Commitment to high standards of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience, with advanced English fluency.

The standard base pay range for this role is between $175,950 and $238,050 annually, with offers typically anchored in the mid-point.
