The Lending Platform team focuses on developing a robust lending platform that emphasizes accuracy and scalability.
As the staff engineer, you will oversee the development and maintenance of the core ledger platform, ensuring its robustness, scalability, and reliability.
You will stay updated on technological advancements and incorporate relevant innovations to enhance the platform's capabilities.
Your role includes mentoring a team of software engineers and developers to foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
You will plan and manage project execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget, utilizing agile methodologies for progress monitoring.
Regular communication with senior management and stakeholders will be required to report on project status, risks, and opportunities.
You will ensure adherence to high-quality coding and documentation standards and oversee the implementation of robust testing strategies.
Encouraging a culture of innovation within the team and leading efforts to streamline processes and implement best practices will be part of your responsibilities.
Requirements:
You must have 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
A minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in a fintech company is required.
You should have at least 3+ years of experience leading the architecture and design of new and current systems.
A strong background in developing, testing, and validating financial platforms, particularly with expertise in ledger technology, is necessary for at least 3+ years.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science is required.
Excellent project management and communication skills are essential.
You should possess excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies is required.
A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive is expected.
