  • As a Staff Software Engineer on the Marketplace team, you will design and implement solutions to support a rapidly growing agent workforce.

  • Responsibilities include leading complex projects, mentoring engineers, participating in the hiring process, influencing engineering strategy, and partnering with product engineering.

Requirements:

  • You must have 8+ years of software engineering work experience.
  • Experience working with fully remote teams is required.
  • You should have demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple teams on large-scope projects.
  • You need to have experience presenting technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational-wide documentation skills are necessary.
  • You must be able to research and synthesize information about new technologies and explain their relevance to the engineering organization.
  • Independence in project management around ambiguous problems is essential.
  • Strong experience with backend technologies such as Python Web Frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI, etc.) and frontend technologies like React is required.
  • Familiarity with data management systems (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Kafka, etc.) and cloud deployment using Kubernetes is necessary.
